PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting apparatus capable of efficiently radiating heat generated in a phosphor.SOLUTION: A light-emitting apparatus 10 includes: an insulating substrate 11; an LED chip 12; and a phosphor layer 13. The LED chip 12 is disposed on a surface of the insulating substrate 11. A transparent phosphor layer 13 containing phosphor covers a top face of the LED chip 12, and also covers only a part of the side face near the top face of the phosphor layer 13. The phosphor layer 13 has a uniform film thickness in the part covering the top face of the LED chip 12. In the phosphor layer 13, the part covering the side face of the LED chip 12 is connected to the part covering the top face of the LED chip 12 with an acute angle. Among individual LED chips 12, there is provided a section S on which the phosphor layer 13 is not formed. |
