PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an opening/closing mechanism from easily switching to an opening state, in spite of application of a pressing force in a vertical direction to a sample container in the case that the opening/closing mechanism is provided for each sample storage unit in a rack.SOLUTION: An adapter is attached for each sample storage unit. The adapter includes a pair of arms 70 and 72, and they have lower end structures 74 and 76. When an opening force in a horizontal direction is applied to the lower end structures 74 and 76 in a state where a sample container is placed on the lower end structures 74 and 76, they are moved to retreat outward in the horizontal direction. In an opening state after the movement, the sample container is delivered from the rack to an elevating mechanism. Meanwhile, when a pressing force in a vertical direction is applied to the sample container in a closing state, stopper pieces 104A and 104B of respective attachments 96 are lowered. In a state where they are lowered, opening movement of the pair of arms 70 and 72 is limited. |
