<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cartridge capable of causing borderless printing to be reliably performed with respect to each label portion.SOLUTION: A tape cartridge mounted to a tape printer comprises: a label tape 101 having a plurality of label portions 105 provided in a tape length direction and a plurality of detection protrusions 109 provided in the tape length direction corresponding to the plurality of label portions 105; a cartridge case for accommodating the label tape 101; and a platen roller 103 accommodated in the cartridge case for feeding the label tape 101 outside the cartridge case by being rotated. Detection leading end portions 109a and the label portions 105 are arranged so as to cause printing to be started from printing start points 111 among the detection leading end portions 109a which are end portions positioned downstream relative to a feeding direction of the plurality of detection protrusions 109 and leading end portions 105a which are end portions positioned downstream relative to a feeding direction of the label portions 105 in the tape length direction at the time of printing.</p> |
