<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball shooting device achieving, besides a rotation axis in a plane substantially perpendicular to an advancing direction of a ball, a complicated rotation axis including a rotation axis in a plane along the advancing direction of the ball and capable of shooting various types of breaking balls producing a complicated change by the complicated rotation axis.SOLUTION: The ball shooting device includes: a placement unit on which a ball is placed; an air application unit that applies a compressed air to the ball placed on the placement unit; and a shooting cylinder that is connected to the placement unit and guides the ball to be shot by receiving the compressed air. The placement unit includes a fixture that fixes the outer periphery along a substantially perpendicular face to the shooting direction of the ball placed at a prescribed position, and a rotary member for rotating the fixture. The rotary member rotates the ball at the rotation axis along the shooting direction via the rotation of the fixture. The air application unit applies the compressed air to the ball, with the ball rotated by the rotary member.</p> |
