PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of glare, in comparison with a case where density of an image is not controlled according to brightness of irradiation light with which a reflection type display medium is irradiated.SOLUTION: A display device 100 includes a reflection type display medium 10 and a driving device 20 driving the display medium 10. The driving device 20 includes a voltage application part 30 applying a voltage to the display medium 10, a control part 40 controlling the voltage application part 30, and a brightness information acquisition part 42 acquiring brightness information indicating the brightness of the irradiation light with which the display medium 10 is irradiated, The control part 40 controls the density of a display color in a previously set range, so as to suppress the occurrence of glare in the display color in the previously set range where there is a possibility of occurrence of glare among the display colors of the image displayed on the display medium 10, based on the brightness information indicating the brightness of the irradiation light with which the display medium 10 is irradiated. |
