PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a lithium ion secondary battery which operates with a high voltage, and is high in high cycle life, and less in gas production; and an electrolyte for nonaqueous power storage devices which make possible to provide such a lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: An electrolyte for nonaqueous power storage devices comprises: a nonaqueous solvent; a lithium salt (A) having no boron atom; a lithium salt (B) including a predetermined boron atom; and a compound (C) including an acid selected from a group consisting of proton acid having phosphorus atoms and/or boron atoms, sulfonic acid and carboxylic acid, in which at least one of hydrogen atoms of the selected acid is substituted with a substituent group expressed by the formula (3) below.
