<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator capable of assembling the stator to a vehicle without fixing a separated member for attaching to a stator core.SOLUTION: A stator 2 is equipped with a stator core 5 in which a plurality of teeth 13 is radially projected out from a cylindrical yoke 12 to the outside in a diametrical direction. The stator core 5 is formed in a cylindrical shape by arranging a plurality of U-shaped core pieces 17 having two leg portions 18 projecting out in the diametrical direction and a coupling portion 19 for coupling the leg portions 18 in a circumferential direction, in an annular shape. The stator 2 is assembled in a base 9 by spigot-fitting a cylinder portion 9a formed on the base 9 and the yoke 12. Therefore, without fixing a separated member for attaching to the stator core 5, the stator 2 can be assembled in a vehicle. Consequently, a number of components and man-hour can be reduced, and a manufacturing cost can be saved.</p> |
