The present invention relates to an electrolyte additive for a secondary battery and an electrolyte for a secondary battery including the same, wherein the electrolyte composition for the secondary battery of the present invention includes a solvent, a lithium salt, and a refractory lithium salt, and also includes 0.0001 to 1 parts by weight of refractory lithium salt based on 100 parts by weight of the electrolyte composition. The electrolyte composition can relieve a deterioration in battery functions by precipitation of organic/inorganic lithium salts, extend high temperature lifecycle of a battery, and improve stability, thereby being usefully used in producing the secondary battery. |
