PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration that enables correct determination of whether a visitor carrying a product is a regular registrant, and enables even reading of an information medium attached with the product.SOLUTION: An authentication system 1 is configured to use a usable first information medium attached with a product, and a second information medium carried by a person. Then, the authentication system 1 is configured to comprise: a first reading part that, when the product exists in a first reading range of the authentication site, reads first identification information recorded in a record in the first information medium of the product; and a second reading part that, when a person having the second information medium in a predetermined second reading area of the authentication site exists in a predetermined second reading area of the authentication site, reads second identification information recorded in a second information medium; a determination part that determines whether the second information medium is read on the basis of information registered in a registration part and a reading result by the second reading part; and a notification part that performs a predetermined notification operation as a condition where it is determined the second information medium is read. |
