PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable AC power supply for taking full advantage of a battery to reduce energy and resource consumption in an attempt to solve the problem that although a battery is generally charged by a continuous method with an increased charge current in order to reduce a charging time, the battery is not fully charged and its life is shortened, the phenomenon arising from slowness in the chemical reaction of the battery.SOLUTION: It is desirable that a battery be intermittently charged for each cell, but the device becomes complicated and expensive and a charging time is accumulated. Therefore, batteries are divided into halves, and charging is alternately repeated at intervals of several minutes, whereby the chemical reaction of the battery is carried out to completion and a full charge is achieved. Two sets of batteries are connected in series, and the voltage is doubled when it is supplied to an inverter, whereby energy losses due to heat generation is greatly reduced. |
