PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction force output device which prevents rotation friction on a motor side from acting on a reaction force output shaft side when reaction force control is not performed by a motor, and accordingly, does not give discomfort to an operator.SOLUTION: A reaction force output device includes a motor 12 generating reaction force and a reaction force output shaft 13 for transmitting the reaction force to an operation pedal. Between the motor 12 and the reaction force output shaft 13, a clutch mechanism for making a state of a rotary shaft 12a of the motor 12 and the reaction force output shaft 13 a connection state when the motor 12 is driven, and making the state of the rotary shaft 12a of the motor 12 and the reaction force output shaft 13 a disconnected state when the motor 12 is not driven, is interposed. |
