PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gasification melting furnace capable of ensuring stable waste treatment.SOLUTION: A waste gasification melting furnace 10 includes: a shaft unit 2; a melting furnace unit 4; and a communication unit 5. The communication unit 5 includes: carbonization fire grates 3; a blower 36 that includes air supply sections 33 and 34; and a supply device 31 supplying waste to an upper opening portion 46. The carbonization fire gates 3 include supply carbonization fire gates 3A and dry-distillation fire gates 3B. The waste gasification melting furnace 10 includes: a control unit controlling temperatures T1 and T2 and a ratio (M1/M2) of an oxygen quantity M2 from a tuyere 42 to a theoretical combustion oxygen quantity M1 of solid carbon in a carbon-based solid fuel; regulation means 33b regulating a quantity of air supplied from the air supply section 33 based on the temperature T1; regulation means 34b regulating a quantity of air supplied from the air supply section 34 based on the temperature T2; and regulation means 47 regulating a quantity of oxygen or the carbon-based solid fuel supplied based on the ratio (M1/M2).
