<p>The present invention relates to a method for providing an API based on a contents delivery network (CDN) service, which is capable of providing various additional services using a plurality of cache devices by supporting acquisition of information through access to the cache devices distributed and arranged on a communication network for the CDN service, and to a cache device for the same. The method includes storing different service information on each of cache devices distributed and arranged on a communication network; detecting, by each cache device, a request message of a user equipment transmitted through a different path; comparing destination address information of the request message with a specified address information preset for a CDN service-based API, by a cache device that has detected the request message of the user equipment; and transmitting service information stored in the cache device to the user equipment when the destination address information corresponds to the specified address information.</p> |
