PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor luminaire having a light control function to adjust the brightness of an illumination and a waterproof function, and capable of being used outdoors.SOLUTION: An outdoor luminaire comprises: a bottomed cylindrical power supply unit 1 having a light control power source accommodated in a hollow part; a bottomed cylindrical lighting unit 2 having a light-emitting element accommodated in the hollow part and the open end side covered with an optically transparent plate and fixed on the power supply unit 1; and a bottomed cylindrical light control ring 3 interposed between the power supply unit 1 and the lighting unit 2 and used to adjust a value of an electric current to be fed from the light control power source to a light-emitting element. The power supply unit 1, the lighting unit 2 and the light control ring 3 are arranged in such a way that their individual cylindrical parts are aligned with their center axes on a same line, and ring-shaped grooves 37 and 38 are formed in the front end face and the rear end face of the cylindrical part 31 of the light control ring 3, and a ring-shaped waterproof packing 8 is accommodated in each of those grooves 37 and 38. |
