PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a vehicle lighting appliance of this invention is not applicable to a vehicle lighting appliance which does not have a specified optical member, and it is difficult to form a light distribution pattern according to a layout.SOLUTION: This vehicle lighting appliance comprises: a semiconductor laser 1; a fluorescent body 2; a color mixing member 3; and a projection lens 4. The semiconductor laser 1 radiates near-ultraviolet laser light L1. The fluorescent body 2 emits the fluorescent light L2 of red light R, green light G and blue light B by the near-ultraviolet laser light L1 from the semiconductor laser 1. The color mixing member 3 color-mixes the fluorescent light L2 from the fluorescent body 2, and makes it as white light L3. The projection lens 4 radiates the white light L3 from the color mixing member 3 to the outside of a vehicle as irradiation light L4 at a prescribed light distribution pattern. As a result, this vehicle lighting appliance is applicable to a vehicle lighting appliance which does not have a specified optical member, and a light distribution pattern according to a layout can be formed. |
