PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent abnormality caused by a transfer metal fitting being left unremoved, by performing detection of presence/absence of the transfer metal fitting after installation before starting a washing operation.SOLUTION: A drum type washing machine includes: a washing machine body 1; a water tub 3 supported in the washing machine body 1 in a swingable manner; a transfer metal fitting 13 for removably fixing the washing machine body 1 and the water tub 3; a rotary drum 5 accommodated in the water tub 3 in a rotatable manner; a motor 6 for rotationally driving the rotary drum 5; and control means 18 for controlling the motor 6 and controlling a series of steps of washing, rinsing, dewatering and the like. A pair of electrodes 35 for a transfer metal fitting disposed in a position which short-circuits by the mounting of the transfer metal fitting 13, and resistance value between electrodes measurement means 42 for detecting a resistance value between the electrodes 35 for a transfer metal fitting, are provided. The control means 18 detects a mounting state of the transfer metal fitting 13 by comparing a reference value set in advance with an output of the resistance value between electrodes measurement means 42. |
