<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize both high-speed read operation from an imaging element and image quality improvement at a rolling shutter operation.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an imaging element having a plurality of pixels disposed in matrix, a vertical signal line for outputting pixel signals in column basis, a vertical scanning part for selecting a pixel row, a plurality of column signal processing parts for processing pixel signals by connecting to the vertical signal line, and an output part for adding a synchronization signal to a signal from the column signal processing part and outputting the signal; and a synchronization control part for controlling the imaging element. The synchronization control part controls the imaging element so as to start reading next row pixel signals to be provided for another column signal processing part, different from a column signal processing part corresponding to an output part outputting previously read pixel signals, before completing the output of the previously read pixel signals, read signals of N lines (N is an integer equal to two or more) within one horizontal synchronization period, and sequentially change pixel rows for reading signals at an interval of one horizontal synchronization period divided by N.</p> |
