<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display accessory which, when abnormality occurs in the display accessory, can distinguish light abnormality from serious abnormality.SOLUTION: The display accessory is provided which is attachable to and detachable from a camera body, and which comprises: display means for displaying a video on the basis of video signals output from the camera body; abnormality detecting means for detecting a plurality of types of abnormalities in the display accessory; classifying means that classifies the plurality of types of abnormalities detected by the abnormality detecting means into a light abnormality and a serious abnormality on the basis of degrees of influence on the display of the video displayed by the display means; and transmitting means that transmits to the camera body light abnormality data showing whether an abnormality to be classified into the light abnormality occurs or not and serious abnormality data showing whether an abnormality to be classified into the serious abnormality occurs or not.</p> |
