<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that LiZnBOparticles, for practical use as the negative electrode material of a lithium ion secondary battery, did not exist.SOLUTION: By combining a wet process for making, e.g., a hydrothermal method, and heating treatment, LiZnBOof monoclinic system (monoclinic)βtype can be produced with micro grain size, and is useful as the negative electrode active material for lithium ion secondary battery.
