摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a liquid ejection head capable of highly accurately performing discrimination of an adhesion state.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a liquid ejection head which ejects liquid from nozzle openings while laminating different sized members formed by silicone to one another by adhesive comprises the steps of: measuring a distance lbetween a reference point positioned with respect to imaging means 220 in a lamination direction and a surface extending from a joint surface of a second member 15 when transmitting an infrared ray through a first member 10 or the second member 15 and imaging the joint surface by the imaging means 220 for imaging by the infrared ray from one side of the lamination direction in a state that first member 10 having a surface shape of a joint surface side relatively smaller than that of the second member 15 and the second member 15 having a surface shape of a joint surface side greater than that of first member 10 are jointed via the adhesive 25; and calculating a focal distance lof the imaging means 220 on the basis of the distance lmeasured and a distance lbetween the imaging means 220 and the reference point and imaging the joint surface.
