PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support device giving no discomfort to a driver when parking a vehicle.SOLUTION: A parking support device 100 includes: a route information storage unit in which route information showing a travel route R comprising a forward travel route FR and a retreat travel route RR when parking is previously stored according to a forward movement starting position FP; an inclination calculation unit for calculating a present inclination of a vehicle length direction ML of a vehicle 1 to a target parking position P, based on own vehicle positional information of the vehicle 1 stopped to the target parking position P; an off-set amount setting unit for setting based on an inclination, an off-set amount in an interval direction of the forward travel route FR between a position where a current position of the vehicle 1 and the vehicle length direction ML of the vehicle 1 becomes parallel to the forward travel route FR, when forward traveling the vehicle 1 at a prescribed rudder angle from the current position; and a guidance unit for guiding the vehicle 1 to the target parking position P, based on any of the route information showing a travel route adjacent to a position where the vehicle length direction ML becomes parallel to the forward travel route FR, in the route information stored in the route information storage unit. |
