<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball tap capable of positively stopping water supply even if trouble occurs at the time of occurrence of accident or disaster and the like.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a ball tap in which a water level in a water reservoir is maintained at a pre-set water level under an operation where a valve body 2 cooperated with a lever rod 1 oscillated up and down in response to the water level in the water reservoir opens or closes a valve port 4 arranged in a valve box 3. The valve body 2 is biased by a spring 5 in a valve closing direction, a heavy bob floated up or sunk in response to the water level in the water reservoir is suspended at the lever rod 1, the biasing force of the spring 5 is set in such a way that the valve closed state under non-suspended state of the heavy bob of the lever rod 1 is held and at the same time at the set water level under suspended state of the heavy bob of the lever rod 1, the valve is closed by resisting the heavy bob immersed in the water and in turn at a lower water level than the set water level, the valve is opened by resisting of weight of heavy bob immersed in the water or weight above the water surface.</p> |
