PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire for a heavy load in which abrasion resistance performance and rolling resistance performance are made compatible at high level.SOLUTION: A tread part 2 of a tire 1 for a heavy load is partitioned into a plurality of center blocks 14 and a plurality of shoulder blocks 15 by a pair of circumferential grooves 9, a plurality of central inclined grooves 10 and a plurality of shoulder lateral grooves 11. The central inclined grooves 10 communicate inner zigzag-shaped apexes 9c and 9c recessed inside in a tire shaft direction of each circumferential groove 9 with each other, where inclined anglesβof the central inclined grooves 10 relative to the tire shaft direction are 15°-35°.
