PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record crash information at a time of a vehicle crash.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle including a low-voltage battery 24 and a high-voltage battery 15 higher in voltage than the low-voltage battery 24, comprises: an output detection unit that detects an output from the low-voltage battery 24; a crash detection unit that detects a vehicle crash; an information recording unit to which the low-voltage battery 24 is connected as a power supply, and that records crash information from the crash detection unit; a power-supply relay unit 31 that is provided between the low-voltage battery 24 and the information recording unit, and that is switched over between an open state of disconnecting the low-voltage battery 24 from the information recording unit and a connection state of connecting the low-voltage battery 24 to the information recording unit; and a control unit that switches the power supply relay unit 31 from the open state to the connection state if the crash detection unit detects a vehicle crash and the output detection unit detects a reduction in the output from the low-voltage battery 24. |
