PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a view finder capable of transmitting setting data necessary to display video from a camera body side.SOLUTION: An accessory for display is capable of attaching and detaching to/from a camera body. The accessory for display comprises: display means for displaying video on the basis of a video signal output by the camera body; and initial communication means for performing prescribed initial communication processing in response to power-on to the accessory for display. The initial communication processing performed by the initial communication means includes setting data reception processing to receive setting data necessary for the display means to display video from the camera body. The display means displays video on the basis of the setting data. |
