PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary atomization electrostatic coating device which can control a shape of a spray pattern while suppressing a bounce of paint particles.SOLUTION: A coating device 1 comprises a device main body 11, a rotary atomization head 121, a needle-shape electrostatic electrode 13, a voltage generator 14 and a control part 15. The rotary atomization head 121 is rotatably mounted to a front end part of the device main body 11, and sprays paint to an object to be painted. The needle-shape electrostatic electrode 13 is arranged at an external peripheral side of the device main body 11. The voltage generator 14 applies a voltage to the needle-shape electrostatic electrode 13. The control part 15 controls a shape of a spray pattern formed of paint which is sprayed from the rotary atomization head 121 by variably controlling the voltage. |
