PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical imaging lens systems having five lens elements, and portable electronic devices incorporating the same.SOLUTION: An optical image capturing lens 100 includes, in order from the object side to the image side, an aperture stop AS and first, second, third, fourth, and fifth lens elements L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, each of the five lens elements having an object-side surface and an image-side surface. The first lens element has an object-side surface that is convex along an optical axis. The second lens element has an image-side surface that is concave near a circumferential edge thereof. The fourth lens element has an object-side surface that is convex near a circumferential edge thereof. The fifth lens element has an image-side surface that is concave near the optical axis and convex near a circumferential edge thereof. The first, second, third, fourth, and fifth lens elements have refractive power. Thickness of the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth lens elements and air gaps therebetween satisfy certain conditions. |
