PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pickup device capable of preventing pressure applied onto one piezoelectric element from propagating to a next piezoelectric element via a bridge, and obtaining a pickup signal precisely reflecting string vibration.SOLUTION: A pickup device includes: a plurality of piezoelectric elements 33 for one string 15; an upper flexible substrate 32 and a lower flexible substrate 34 for vertically interleaving the plurality of piezoelectric elements; a plurality of highly rigid blocks 31 for separately energizing each of the plurality of piezoelectric elements 33 from a saddle 22 side to a bridge 14 side; and a plurality of highly rigid blocks 35 for separately energizing each of the plurality of piezoelectric elements 33 from the bridge 14 side to the saddle 22 side. |
