PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for laser direct structuring, which maintains platability and furthermore has excellent various mechanical characteristics such as a flexural modulus of elasticity, bending strength, Charpy impact strength, a deflection temperature under loading, and which has excellent fire retardancy.SOLUTION: The resin composition contains, relative to 100 pts.mass of a resin component including 65 to 90 wt% of a polycarbonate resin and 35 to 10 wt% of a styrene-based resin, 5 to 40 pts.wt. of glass fibers having a ratio of (average fiber length)/(average fiber diameter) of 10 or less, 0.5 to 10 pts.mass of an elastomer, 5 to 10 pts.mass of a laser direct structuring additive containing antimony and tin, 10 to 30 pts.mass of a phosphazene compound, and 0.1 to 1 pt.mass of polytetrafluoroethylene.
