Provided is an electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery including a lithium salt, a non-aqueous organic solvent, and an electrolyte additive which is a pyrrolidine derivative represented by Chemical Formula 1. In the Chemical Formula 1, X and R_1 to R_4 are represented by chemical formula 1 as defined in the detailed explanation. By using the electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery, a lithium secondary battery having improved lifecycle properties and high temperature keeping properties can be provided. |
