PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear seat occupant protective device capable of relieving restraining webbing composed of a seat belt and a lap inner tensioned by a pretensioner from moving to the cabin inside of an occupant.SOLUTION: A rear seat occupant protective device 10 comprises: a pretensioner 48 connected to a shoulder belt and operating upon a lateral collision; and a movement restraining mechanism 50 for restraining a webbing path 36 including the shoulder belt 22 and the lap inner 32 from moving to the outside in a vehicle width direction toward a path A for linearly connecting a lap inner anchor 34 and a shoulder outer anchor 26 when operating the pretensioner. The movement restraining mechanism 50 is provided, so that the webbing path 36 applied with tension T by the pretensioner 48 is restrained from moving to the outside in the vehicle width direction toward the path A upon the lateral collision of a vehicle. As a result of this, a load F in a vehicle outside direction acting on the occupant P from the webbing can be relieved. |
