PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making it possible to accurately determine whether or not an aneurysm grows.SOLUTION: An aneurysm growth determination method is for determining whether or not an aneurysm grows, on the basis of inflow energy E of blood flowing into the aneurysm. In the method, the inflow energy E is calculated on the basis of formula of E=(1/2)×&rgr;×Qin×|v'in|+Pin×Qin or E=Pin×Qin, where &rgr; is a density of the blood flowing into the aneurysm, |v'in| is a flow velocity of the blood flowing into the aneurysm in a direction orthogonal to a boundary plane between the aneurysm and a vessel connecting with the aneurysm, Qin is a volume flow rate of the blood flowing into the aneurysm, and Pin is a pressure of the blood flowing into the aneurysm. |
