PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element capable of obtaining excellent indirect illumination even when a plurality of light-emitting regions are juxtaposed.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element 1 comprises a base material having a prescribed length and a prescribed width, and a light-emitting region 2 formed on the base material and having a prescribed area. The light-emitting region 2 includes a first light-emitting region 2a and a second light-emitting region 2b arranged along a longitudinal direction of the base material. The first light-emitting region 2a includes a first body part 5 and a first protrusion 6 protruding from the first body part 5 toward the second light-emitting region 2b. The second light-emitting region 2b includes a second body part 8 and a second protrusion 9 protruding from the second body part 8 toward the first light-emitting region 2a. The first protrusion 6 and the second protrusion 9 are arranged so as to overlap with each other in the longitudinal direction of the base material. |
