摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occupation area of a driver circuit for selecting a word driver selection line.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises: a plurality of memory mats MAT0 to MAT24 that are classified into groups G0 to G7 which are selected by row address bits X11 to X13; a main word driver MWD that selects a main word line MWL on the basis of the row address bits X4 to X13; an FX driver FXD that selects a word driver selection line FX on the basis of the bits X0 to X2 and X11 to X13, regardless of the bits X4 to X10 of the row address; and a plurality of sub-word drivers SWD that are selected by the main word line MWL and word driver selection line FX and drive respectively corresponding sub-word lines SWL. According to the invention, the word driver selection lines FX and groups G0 to G7 are associated with each other; therefor, the circuit configuration of the FX driver circuit FXD can be simplified.
