<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a heat exchanger capable of brazing components without having a brazing failure, and capable of reducing the manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an evaporator for a rear seat includes the steps of: disposing header tank materials 20 with an interval therebetween; disposing closing parts 13 and 14 on both ends of a cylindrical part 21 of the header tank material 20, providing a refrigerant inlet 8 on the closing part 13 of one end of the one cylindrical parts 21 of the one header tank material 20, and providing a refrigerant outlet 9 on the closing part 13 of one end of the other cylindrical part 21. The method further includes the steps of: placing a solid partition member 23 partitioning the inside of the cylindrical part 21 into two spaces along the longitudinal direction in the cylindrical part 21; disposing a side plate material 24 in a position corresponding to the partition member 23; and cutting the header tank material 20, the partition member 23 and the side plate material 24 at an intermediate portion along the longitudinal direction after brazing all components altogether, and preparing a header tank, a closing part and a side plate.</p> |
