The present invention relates to a method for removing hydrous silica from bentonite and, more particularly, to a method for removing hydrous silica from bentonite, comprising the steps of: manufacturing slurry by inputting bentonite and sodium compounds into distilled water or deionized water and irradiating the slurry with ultrasonic waves; distilling the slurry, which has been irradiated with ultrasonic waves, by adding distilled water or deionized water and centrifuging the same; and drying supernatant liquid obtained by the centrifugation.
