FIELD: heating.SUBSTANCE: method of operating a hot water supply system, in which hot water from the supply and return pipelines of heat distribution network is directed into the mixing device in which the standard hot water temperature is set, the mixed hot water of the standard temperature is directed to the supply pipeline of the hot water supply system and then to the standpipe equipment of consumers. The hot water returned from the consumers is fed through the circulation pipeline to the mixing device. The peculiarity of the claimed method is that in the period of minimum water draw-off a part of the circulating water is fed to the return pipeline of the heat distribution network, the flow rate of which is controlled depending on the temperature of the circulating water at the inlet of the mixing device.EFFECT: improvement of quality and economical efficiency of the heat supply system by providing the required flow rate of hot water at a constant standard temperature coming to standpipe equipment of consumers.1 dwg
