PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary drive device capable of achieving both suppression of transmission of oscillation generated in a motor to an electric power switching element and maintenance of cooling efficiency of the electric power switching element.SOLUTION: A rotary drive device 12 includes a vibration-free heat transfer member 16 that is provided between a casing 21 and an electric power switching element 23 and couples the casing 21 with the electric power switching element 23. The vibration-free heat transfer member 16 includes a plurality of heat transfer sections 25 composed of a metal and a vibration-free section 26a interposed between the heat transfer sections. The heat transfer sections 25 extend from the end of the casing 21 side to the end of the electric power switching element 23 side in the vibration-free heat transfer member 16, and are disposed so as to allow deformation of the vibration-free section 26a as vibration in a vertical direction preset in a motor 14 is applied to the motor 14.
