<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an excellent signal transmission characteristic to be stably obtained with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An insulation housing 11 to which a cable-like signal transmission medium SC is joined is openably/closably provided with a housing lid part 11d that covers a signal conductive contact 12, and the housing lid part 11d is provided with an elastic pressing part 11e which comes into elastic contact with and presses a central conductor SCa of a coaxial cable SC. The housing lid part 11d that forms a dielectric is placed adjacency to the central conductor SCa of the coaxial cable SC, so that dielectric constant is lowered, electrostatic capacitance is reduced, and the degree of matching (VSWR) of characteristic impedance with respect to a transmission signal can easily and appropriately be matched. On the other hand, by direct and elastic pressing operation imparted by the elastic pressing part 11e of the housing lid part 11d, a height of the entire electric connector is reduced, and the pressing operation of the housing lid part 11d can be stably maintained for a long term.</p> |
