<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving the storage stability of pitavastatin calcium salt, more specifically a method for inhibiting the formation of 5-keto product as decomposition product from pitavastatin calcium salt.SOLUTION: A storage method for inhibiting formation of 5-keto product from pitavastatin calcium salt by decomposition includes storing crystals of the pitavastatin calcium salt under conditions with oxygen being removed. More preferably, the storage method for inhibiting formation of 5-keto product from pitavastatin calcium salt includes storing crystals of the pitavastatin calcium salt together with a deoxidant under nitrogen gas conditions or under no air conditions.</p> |
