<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cartridge capable of causing each detection protrusion provided on a tape-like member to appropriately enter between a luminous element and a light receiving element of an optical sensor.SOLUTION: A tape cartridge comprises: a label tape 101 having a plurality of detection protrusions 109 partially protruding from one end portion in a tape width direction; a cartridge case for accommodating the label tape 101; a platen roller 103 capable of being moved upstream in a feeding direction of the label tape 101 in association with pull-in of a tape-like member; and a pull-in prevention section 138 which is protrusively provided from a bottom wall portion 117 at an upstream side of the platen roller 103 in the feeding direction and holds the label tape 101 between the platen roller 103 and the pull-in prevention section 138 when the platen roller 103 is moved upstream in the feeding direction in association with pull-in of the label tape 101. The pull-in prevention section 138 is not brought into contact with the detection protrusions 109.</p> |
