<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for cooling a coil of a pay off reel comprising: a mist blower located in an outlet of a pay off reel to drop the temperature of a coil by spraying mist in the coil unwound; and an air blower located in an outlet of the pay off reel to evaporate the mist sprayed in the coil by spraying air to the coil. The present invention has an effect of markedly reducing a coil brake phenomenon when a coil is unwound due to a decrease in the temperature of the coil.</p> |
