<p>The present invention relates to a call delay time measuring method, wherein only delay time caused by a network is measured excluding delay time caused by a problem related to the call delay time measuring method, so that measurement reliability can be improved. The call delay time measuring method of the present invention is performed by means of a host program while an MOS measuring tool equipped with at least two ports respectively connected with mobile communication mobiles and serving as a transmitting side codec and a receiving side codec is connected with a controlling computer having the host program installed therein. The call delay time measuring method comprises the steps of: (a) outputting a recording command to a receiving side codec by generating a recording event when an MOS measuring command is inputted; (b) generating a playing event, issuing a playing command to the transmitting side codec, and simultaneously transmitting an original WAV file, when a recording confirmation signal is received from the receiving side codec; and (c) measuring delay time by subtracting a difference in time between when the playing command is issued and when the recording event is generated from a point of time when an initial audio signal is recorded, when recording is completed. In the description above, when the playing confirmation signal is not received until determined time passes from when the playing command is issued, the corresponding measurement is invalidated.</p> |
