<p>The turbine has a wheel (116) comprising blades and rotating inside a ring (118). The ring is formed as a single piece using ceramic matrix composite material, and continuously extended to 360 degree. The ring is retained in a turbine casing (114) by axial retention units and circumferential retention units i.e. pins (152, 154). The ring is radially guided on the casing such that the casing is deformed freely in radial direction, by thermal dilation, without forcing the ring to deform radially. The axial retention units are formed by an annular rail (166) and an annular snap ring (172).</p> |
