<p>A sealed and thermally insulating tank comprising a plurality of tank walls, each secured to a respective bearing wall (2, 3), the bearing walls being adjacent two by two at the edges (15), a tank wall comprising: a thermal insulation barrier (4, 6), and a sealing barrier (5, 31) formed from metal elements (13) welded together and comprising a corner piece (28, 29) at an edge, the corner piece comprising a first tie wing and a second tie wing extending respectively parallel to the sealing barrier of the first and of the second of the two bearing walls which define the edge, each tie wing being welded to a metal element, the corner piece comprising an undulating portion having a convexity turned towards the bearing walls, the undulating portion being folded according to an angle that is more acute than the angle of the two bearing walls of the edge, the thermal insulation barrier having a groove (26, 27) to accommodate said undulating portion.</p> |
