<p>The present invention describes a method for recovering rhodium, which comprises: dissolving metallic material containing rhodium in nitric acid; filtrating the mixture obtained in the previous stage with filter paper of 1 micron; recovering the solid part that is trapped in the filter paper, where the rhodium is concentrated; dissolving the solid part retained in the filter paper, in an aqueous solution containing a solvent according to the metals present in said solid part; filtrating the mixture of the previous stage in filter paper of 1 micron; recovering the solid part remaining in the filter paper, where rhodium becomes increasingly concentrated; and continuing the dissolution of the solid part remaining trapped in the filter paper, until the rhodium reading, in a conventional reading device, indicates a rhodium content of at least 50%.</p> |
