摘要 According to the present invention, a folding bicycle having wheels aligned in parallel to each other comprises: a first fork bar and a second fork bar respectively supporting a front wheel and a rear wheel; a steering shaft installed on the first fork bar to steer the front wheel; and a frame connecting the steering shaft to the second fork bar. The front and rear wheels are folded by the rotation of the first and second frames which are hinge-connected to each other by a pivot shaft, wherein the first and second frames are divided on the frame by installing the pivot shaft on a position passing through a point on a virtually-perpendicular bisector bisecting a horizontal line connecting the centers of the front and rear wheels. The pivot shaft has multiple tilt angles in a polar coordinate system virtually set on the center thereof, wherein the tilt angles consist of an azimuth (Φ) tilted toward the axis of ordinates, and a polar angle (&thgr;) tilted from a polar axis toward the azimuth (Φ). Accordingly, the folding angle (A) of the front and rear wheels is determined by the azimuth (Φ), while an alignment gap (D) is determined by the polar angle (&thgr;), in case the bicycle is folded by folding the first and second frames, wherein the gap (D) is generated between the front and rear wheels after the front and rear wheels are folded.
