<p>The present invention provides an apparatus for accurately measuring dimensions of objects of various sizes and shapes. The apparatus include a base plate, a first vertically adjusting sensor mounting shaft having a first set of plurality of measurement sensors, a second vertically adjusting sensor mounting shaft having a second set of plurality of measurement sensors, a first horizontal sliding rail and a second horizontal sliding rail perpendicular to the first horizontal sliding rail. The first set of plurality of measurement sensors and the second set of plurality of measurement sensors are adapted to move along a horizontal direction and a vertical direction in each of a plurality of pre-defined paths at pre-defined time intervals to record coordinates of an object placed on the base plate.</p> |
