PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal part-inspecting press member, inspection device, and inspection method for a tube container, and a method for producing the tube container, allowing certain inspection of strength of a seal part in a short time without causing appearance defect by pressing.SOLUTION: A press member 1 is formed as an elongated member having a press face 11 having an elongated shape in a plan view, and is used by being disposed such that the press member 1 is nearly parallel or has an inclination angle to a tube container that is an inspected object in the long direction. When a long-direction dimension of a tube body is 60 mm or greater, the press member 1 is set in a range of 50-80% at a ratio to the long-direction dimension, and the width W of the press face 11 is in a range of 50-95% at a ratio to a width-direction dimension in a position of 30 mm from a shoulder part of the tube body.
