PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to prevent toner from scattering to the outside of a developing apparatus, and the developing apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 includes a developing apparatus 200. The developing apparatus 200 includes an outlet 208 which is formed in a body 202 of the developing apparatus for discharging air in the body 202 of the developing apparatus. The outlet 208 is extended opposite a rotation center O from a separation magnetic pole-side intersection P1 where a surface of a developing sleeve 260 crosses a separation magnetic pole-side straight line L1 connecting the rotation center O of the developing sleeve 260 and a maximum magnetic force position of a separation magnetic pole S3, is positioned closer to an attraction magnetic pole S1 than the separation magnetic pole-side straight line L1, and is arranged blow a line segment L2 which forms an angle equal to or larger than 0 degree and less than 10 degrees with the separation magnetic pole-side straight line L1 in the separation magnetic pole-side intersection P1. |
